Cricket

Jeez just tuned in for a bit of a gander at what’s going on in the cricket.

Seems I’m not the only one who’s lost total interest in the sport.

Where‘s the fans? There was a time India v Aust would have em swinging from the rafters. Now they are playing in front of empty stands.

Test cricket in a world of hurt it seems.

They don't want them there. If they made the tickets affordable they would sell out the stadium 15 times over.

Much easier to collect sweet TV rights money than deal with riots.

Absolutely Moops. Been saying that for 15 years.

More importantly, shouldn’t you be stalking the NFL going ons ? You need to lift after Conference Championship round.

Tips submitted, copy em if you want.

Would only result in finishing 2nd, but would be considered a fair title defence by most.

Interesting. But don’t you get an all round better broadcast spectacle with crowds going nuts and generating a great atmosphere?

Probably, unless Kohli gets out cheaply and they chuck bottles on the ground so play is suspended.

You see the difference in the IPL. Franchises are businesses and have the incentive to make money so ticket prices encourage fans to come and every game is packed.

Test cricket owned by the BCCI who have more money than God and don't care for anyone not wealthy.

I guarantee you there will be enough people to fill the stadium waiting outside to get a look at the players on the bus route back to the hotel.

True. I drive through some heavily populated Indian suburbs regularly. I often stop and do some shopping. It’s quite cool. I find Indians here quite friendly and jocular. That’s my experience anyway…
You should let 'em into your country club, Smailes. Great fellas to play with.

Sharma grew up in the slums. King of the Street Ball. Expecting him to be able to know the difference a Rolls and a Bentley is #whiteprivilege #justsayin
It’s easy. Rollers are driven by old people ie at your age of life. Bentley’s are driven by younger folk like me.

India not going to bat twice in this game.
Probably won’t the entire series .

Agree with others I think Test Cricket may just be come a carnival event every 2 years with India, Poms and Australia.

Bloody ripper folks the Indians I’ve met , generally great workers too .

Why take *smile* Warner to the sub continent , nice to see a new spinner get a great opportunity, appears to be more then just a bowler holding and end up

Brilliant effort by the Sweeney to slice through the Indian batting line up in his debut match. Pity he hasn't had much help from the rest of the bowling attack.

He won’t last. He can’t. Not with that hair cut. He either needs to go full curly hair without the grease, or get the whole thing cut short. Right now he’s in between both. In no man’s land.

This is unsustainable.
