All this talk that the wicket is hard to score on, the batters seem to be doing alright.

Australia 1st innings - Only Green failed to make 10, 7 of 10 batsmen made more than 20
England 1st innings - 5 batsmen less than 10. 1 was NO (Anderson), the others were 2 poor shots from Root and Buttler. Hameed who at the moment is a walking wicket and a good one to Malan
Australia 2nd innins - 1 batsmen less than 10. All other batters scored more than 20.

Reckon England will bat ok in the 4th innings. They won't chase down the target (its too big) but its not the horrible batting surface that they are saying. Its not a batting paradise, but seems if you concentrate and get through the initial barrage then there are plenty of runs to be scored.

I'd love Crawley to get a score tonight. I reckon he looks good, but just seems to be finding ways to get himself out, but I reckon he has a future as a test opener. I know I was bullish on Hameed earlier in the series, but his technique seems setup for the sub-continent but is horrible for the hard bouncy wickets here

You gotta like the way Wood hits the deck. Puts everything into it. But he doesn’t move the ball sideways much. Very up and down the wicket.

If he learns to move it off the seam more, he’ll be unplayable. Right now he’s too straight though.

Khawaja is now the 5th highest run scorer in the series so far!! Haha

If they let him he will have more than Head has scored in 3 tests in this 1, yet all the talk was how Head will replace him. As a pom I'd rather Head, he seems far easier to get out

I don't think he'll be changing too much, he turns 32 this week.

If Stokes can't bowl in Hobart, I'd love to go in with a bowling attack of Anderson, Broad, Wood and Mahmood who is similar to Wood but much younger (24). Sure he'll spray a few but similar pace to Wood.

Well batted Khawaja :clap2

Probably happened before, but when was the last time someone recalled to a test side after being dropped has scored a ton in each innings.

10 runs behind Head now in the series.
