Agree entirely Struggles, cricket will suffer due to this.

It will lose it's biggest character and it's greatest ever spinner.

Love or loathe him there is no doubting his impact on the game.

To say he'll be missed is a massive understatement. :(

In the MX on the Beey V Boonie banter today Beefy asks Boonie if now that Warne has retired does that make Ashley Giles the world's best spin bowler? Boonie replies no that would have to be Daniel Vettori, no mention of Murali, maybe that's because he is not considered to be a bowler. On the case of the ICC it's only going to get worse once the Asian bloc get Sharad Pawar of India elected as president.

Ah the voice of reason. Last time I checked the history books Murali had a cr@p load of test wickets. Not much of a batsman mind you.

You've been lucky enough to support probably the most dominant cricket side in history for the last 2 decades but still go on and on about the evil little guy from the civil war torn ,third world nation -trying to cheat us.
