I tend to agree. Things are very different with hindsight. Fingers crossed Cotch doesn't suffer a run of injuries while Kreuger excels. Both very good players.

Thanks for the info about the draft CC.

I still hope Cotch can lure his bet mate Kruezer across to punt rd.

Looks like GM was right about Rance being a smartarse. Seems to be a very lovable team bonding smartarse who is also becoming a pretty good player.
Pity we had to cop McMuffin instead of Selwood though.

So disco, Selwood still make it in your list of FJs successful draft selections?

Not sure that'd happen. Kreuzer has already knocked back big money from the GWS (or was it GC?), significantly more than what he'd get at Carlton.

He's a Blues man for life in my view. Good to see a player put the club before dollars. So rare these days.

True, it's probably as likely as Cotchin going to Carlton. Personally I would be quite happy for Kreuzer to have a productive injury free career at Carlton, as anyone who is best friends with someone of the calibre of Cotchin is probably a first class individual and deserves it.

why would you wish a 'first class individual' a career at Carlton? doesnt seem fair to the poor fella.

No Vi$y brown paper bag$ being passed under the table?

Yep whatever he'll be playing for the Blue$, the one thing he certainly never be is a 'poor fella'

Krueger was cruelled by injury, but more so by Carltons overuse of him in his early years. If he'd be at a club that looked after him better he'd be in a far better physical condition.

Cotch 245 games 136 wins 3 draws 106 losses - 2 Flags , 1 Brownlow etc
Kruez 189 games 78 wins 0 draws 111 losses
