Kruezer won't be fit to carry cotchins bags at the end of their careers. He is a ruckman or nothing.. Too slow to be anything else.

He didn't look slow in round 1 when he was running around like a midfielder against our blokes. His form mirrors that of the side overall. How the mighty have fallen.

I've always rated Kreuzer - I'd love to see him at Richmond. But I wouldn't swap Cotchin for any other player in the comp. He may just turn out to be the player of the era. Wouldn't surprise me one bit.

I wouldnt swap Cptch

But being fair to Kreuzer, Ruckman only 21, too early to judge yet, has shown plenty of glimpses of class ,

Would swap Vickory without hesitation.

He is 23 actually (May 1989) but still young for a ruck
Looks really slow at the moment.
He is not a forward but the bloooz have 3 rucks and no key forwards.
Swap him for Post ;D

Struggling since the knee reco, will be a lot better next season given a pre-season.

Usually knee recos take 12 months before players come back from them. It's been a fair while longer than that now.
Looks to me that Kreuzer's lost a lot of his mobility that made him a mouth watering prospect and that may limit his ceiling.
Where as previously he looked as if he was going to be a superstar, he now looks like he's come right back to the pack.
The knee was terribly bad luck for him no doubt.
I sure wouldn't swap him for the Chimp.

In 3 years the Krooze will be the 2nd best ruck behind NicNat.
Whereas Cotch will be the #1 mid fielder.
Maybe we could trade Grigg for Kruezer :hihi

I stand by my words that karma is a b!tch. They tank and get Kreuzer and Judd. And we get cotchin. Kreuzer may never reach his potential perhaps because of an acl, and Judd is clearly on the decline at a time where they are hoping their premiership window is opening (lets not even talk about josh kennedy). As for cotchin, he started slow, but after finally getting his body right it looks like he will be a superstar of the competition at a time when (we hope) we are on the rise

Yarran's gone backwards this year too.

Good. Wouldn't mind the club making a play for him.

I really hope for Kruezer's sake, that it's soon fact that Carlton can't mathematically make the finals this year, and they can put him in for surgery to clean up the knee. They're ruining him at the moment, and I hate to see that happen to any young player, regardless of their ability, and Kruezer has heaps.

interesting to come back to this thread after cotchin's magnificent second half of the season. is charlie coming?

Was talking to a Carlton supporter yesterday and he goes to me Cotchin was a high draft pick wasn't he, I said yes pick 2 after Kreuzer. The response was 'Oh... *smile*....' :hihi

Kreuzer has done more thus far but has had a much better run with injury until he did the knee. I don't think anyone would dispute that what Kreuzer did as a young ruck is very impressive and not the norm for young talls. Also shows traits of being Dean Cox like over the journey. But the Chimp has had no luck and very little preseason. This is a debate to be revisited at the end of this year because I honestly believe that Cotchin is about to unleash a season that will put him in a very different class then what he currently is.

So yeah. Chimp all day everyday.
