Wht is the point of Victorians making all this sacrfice when we have that *smile* in Sydney not locking down similarly?
Every State in Australia is at the mercy of one rogue Premier backed by the Prime Minister of NSW.
That is certainly the major part of it Oldie but the Vic authorities are also complicit. They are dishing our red zone permits like AFL gives away free tickets to a Gold Coast v Giants game at Metricon. A staggering amount of people are coming back every day from red zones. And then when they breach quarantine there are no consequences so people feel like they can do whatever they *smile* want.

It's a joke all around.

Being fully vaccinated, I should be allowed to go. but alas, this hasn’t been agreed to by the states as yet.

there is already 7.
This is the bit that's confusing me.

Even if you are fully vaccinated, you can still catch it yes ? & if you can still catch it you can then pass it on yes ?

So why should you be able to go until everyone is vaccinated ?

Not having a go at you, I just need clarity for myself

Well, that’s me locked down in home quarantine. Despite me telling her not to, my partner went into work yesterday and spent all day sitting next to an MCC Tier 2 work colleague who got texted today to get tested immediately.

She’s been tested, so I guess we have to wait and hope she’s negative. I’ve already been out and about today at some retail locations.

Young & Jacksons added to exposure sites, (same guy that visited the MCG).
Great. Jack and I were there on Sunday before the game. I know it's a day later but what if one of the staff caught it on Saturday? Looks like I'm off to have my first test.

Its not that they didn't have to wear a mask - they did. They just chose not to because they either couldn't be bothered or thought they would get away without it.

People take shortcuts like this all the time, just like how i see people every day ignoring the QR code scanning and just waltzing into a shop. Just like you see people wearing a mask under their chin, or with their nose exposed.

I was a Officeworks on Friday last week when I overheard a bit of a barney between two customers. One told the other she should be wearing a mask inside. The non-mask wearer put on her most consdcending voice and replied "Oh sweetie...don't you know? You don't have to wear a mask inside anymore, the rules changed today and masks are no longer required". Maybe she construed masks no longer being required "in the office" meant they weren't required "in Officeworks"

People cannot be trusted to do the right thing and when things go wrong, we all suffer the consequences.
People can't even be bothered to walk 20 meters to put trollies away. Wear a mask and stay home.... What is is this communist China!!!!

We might have democracy but we are always tied to the lowest common denominators and how stupid or selfish they act has a huge bearing in this covid world.

Now ScuMo is blaming "Medical Experts" for the slow vaccination rollout.

He never takes responsibility for ANYTHING.

Undeniably the worst Prime Minister Australia has EVER had.

I thought Abbott was bad but this clown beats him hands down.

ScuMo & Fraudenberg what a pair.

Hmm, WA looking like it won't be an option, wonder how much I will get back on the plane tickets and car hire I paid for :(

WA now has Victoria as "Low Risk" which means 14 days quarantine, we have to go back to "Very Low Risk" before we can go there with no quarantine.

Can I sue the NSW govt for this?

DS

The irony of Frydenburg saying that the VIC government were the master of deflection. Haha he should know all about deflection.

We’re ***’ed. There’s no way we’re avoiding lockdown yet again.

Has similar hallmarks to the Whittlesea outbreak. Possibly unvaccinated 60 year old goes all over Melbourne whilst contagious and to highly attended venues.

ABC reporting only one teacher; at Bacchus Marsh Grammar. No info on how they became infected.
There were between 300 and 400 teachers and staff in the indoor gymnasium all day with no masks, on a professional development day ‍
