Rumours of another 10 cases overnight. As we know we're likely at least week behind the virus. Another *smile* lock down coming.

Real worried that this thing is completely out of the bag. Indian variant which is estimated to be 50% more transmissible, a score of exposure sites which are absolutely all over the place and not geo restricted, increasing positive test numbers.
Personally reckon that given the nature of the original cohort and their movements, we should have been in lockdown much earlier. Even Sutton said this morning he was concerned about: a) the length of time contagious carriers had been out and about in the community before testing positive and; b) the number and breadth of exposure sites that they'd been to.
We've got serious problems here again in Victoria. Reckon we'll be longer than 5 days.

Yup. The original "seeding" of this has gone too far and too quickly for this to be a simple 3-5 day lockdown it seems.
Was just reading that health authorities are worried we're heading down a Taiwan type path where we go from no cases to significant outbreaks.
FFS.....get a Federal quarantine system and get this *** country vaccinated 1000 times quicker. Said it 8 weeks ago: we're courting a typical Australian complacency lead disaster until we do.
