If you get tested, regardless of how and why, you should isolate until the result is through as if you head out and about, you may contract it after the test in which case you won't know (until tested further) or you may infect others if you did have it, even if you didn't think you did.
Not sure if they're still doing door-to-door testing, but if mandatory isolation was required after any test, I would probably choose not to answer the door right now given the wait period for a result is indeterminate. And I like to think I'm as compliant as most with regard to doing the right thing.
