Coronavirus

Went and got a test today after where I get a haircut got a case. Got there at 7 out by 8.45.

Zero symptoms besides Xmas fatigue and a runny nose that I attribute to hay fever.

An hour and 45 minutes for a hair cut ? Cmon. You had a perm and colour didn’t you ?

Hope the test is neg.

The NSW Government have stuffed again, with the blessing of Morrison. Their, we know what's best for NSW, and Australia has come back to bight them on the arse ............again.
Why on December 15 did they give unvaccinated people the same freedoms as vaccinated people, a massive mistake.
Everyone has been told to get vaccinated and to get their booster shots, so what do they do.........give the selfish unvaccinated carte blanche to wander around, catch Covid, and then spread it around:mad:

What's changed for the unvaccinated?

Those who have not been vaccinated have been living under strict COVID rules while the rest of the state enjoyed greater freedoms since October.

Unvaccinated people will now have the same freedoms as vaccinated people.

Bought a pair of clippers in 1998, haven't paid for a haircut since.

I look as a flash as a rat with a gold tooth with my number 1 haircut........if I do so say myself:cool:

My hair is like the virus, it’s never gunna stop growing and mutating into something different.

Some common sense. Hopefully they can agree on a National approach tomorrow as mentioned.

Weve always had a national approach.

Its just that the national leader cant lead, and qld and WA only want to be part of the nation in the good times

High cases low hospitalisations and deaths is a good thing.
The hospitalisations we are getting now are related to the case numbers 7-10 ago. Only if they don't track up in a week or so can we start feeling optimistic.
They will track up, even only because there will be more virus around for the unvaccinated to catch as they make up the bulk of hospitalisations.

Works on the face as well. Don't have the balls to try on the sack

the silicon ones they can put in these days are very realistic.

or if you didn't want to go down that route, and you really wanted the Brazilian for your confidence, you could try placing a book, or something firm behind your scrotum?

just some ideas.

From NSW active cases today, allowing for a 10 day "lead time", currently the hospital rate is 3.85%, ICU is 0.37%, Ventilation is 0.14%.

On the 17th December, as an example, the respective rates were 6.71%, 0.75% and 0.25%.

So it seems that the impact of the Omricon variant is not as severe as the Delta strain?

There's no data I can find that identifies how many Omicron vs Delta have been admitted to hospital.

That said, 0.37% of 61,000 is around 230, which is a lot more than the 61 ICU patients today.

I'm astounded that Victoria have decided not to verify the strains of virus anymore, as surely it would impact on any medical advice coming into January & February?
