The feds need to reassess the MBS rate for 2nd doses and boosters paid to GPs and Pharmacists. It goes from $31.05 to $24.45 I assume because there is in theory extra work with assessing a patient's suitability for a first dose which does not need to be done subsequently.Well as of 4th Jan 4months it is and then reducing it further to a 3 months interval on the 31st Jan. Pro-active for a change, hopefully they get the logistics right this time.
That is 20% reduction and many GPs and pharmacists are saying it is the difference between covering costs and not doing so.
It is easily fixed and to me is an unbelievably stupid decision in the climate we are in. We need GPs and pharmacists to get this done.

I'm the same, my 2nd dose was in October so I don't qualify for the 4 months in Jan, but when we hit Feb my 3 month booster will be overdue
My wife and I both just booked boosters for 6th January. Done on line in 5 minutes. Very easy.
That will be part of the cross promotion with Macca's and KFC ......

After Jane has deposited the PM to the waiting area..... she exits the vehicle and holding on for dear life reaches the boot, retrieving her walking frame to just make it in time for her to open Scomo's door.
The PM leaps from the car to squeals of delight from his children, who pleaded with him earlier, to get the KFC bucket........ knowing they are now free to attend the cricket tonight and won't be recognized with the bloke next to them!
It’s all good. You get interstate visitors to have a test 72 hours before you enter the state. All it does is put extra pressure on stretched resources.
Didn't ScoMo announce on the news just over the last day or two that he was jacking the payment up by about ten bucks???? *smile* by the Govt to cut the vaxx rates on the quiet to start with n obviously trying to gain some mileage by announcing an upcoming increase.
