Connors

still believe he was ordinary at best, one sided player, too slow, and not fit enough.

Parrot's a bigger nob than Connors.

Agree. A combination of his own misguided opinion and speculation with zero fact. And he just had to have a final crack at Cousins.

Exactly JB - he had to come up with something extra for the Footy Show, and if it wasn't there, he would speculate, fabricate, hallucinate until he had something to 'give us the real story..'
Also thought the same about him dragging in Cousins - just another angle to come at it so he could fill the time-slot. Totally speculative and thin as dunny paper. Just rot.

Mentioned on the footy show by parrot that conners and dimma had to be physically separated during their meeting

Hardwick must have been drunk and had his back to Connors then.

Oh dont you love scoop on he footy show, was patently obvious h had nothing....loooooooved the bit that some sources suggested martin was as bad an influence on dc. So what else did mrs connors say :hihi......like always he had little and made the rest up

I doubt Connors goes out of way to publically attempt to assassinate the character of people like parrott attempted to do to Martin. The guy is a *smile* pure and simple. OK he may hate Richmond but to extend that to taking potshots at individuals like he has is just the action of a skunk.

was never much chop. Never really wanted it and was never that good. Did the occassional flashy move, Had a burst of reasonable form at one stage. Downhill skier. Went one handed often. Never had a real go at contests he wasn't expected to win.

One thing that struck me after the GWS game, in his interview with King he looked away, never looked King in the eye. Looked at the ground or the grandstand. I've never seen that before.

Pretty much agree with this. A few tricks, plenty of flaws.

i feel for the guy....he showed enough in those 29 games to know he had real potential..shame he never got enough run of games to consolidate it all....i also feel for any troubled soul no matter who they are...
good luck with the future dan

Agree he was one sided, not quick and not fit enough often enough. But he did have bucket loads of ability but failed to match that with application. The sporting world is full of these types.

Also agree..tell your story walking Dan.
