Eric said:Has played 5 games. Stop trying to patronise me. I mean in every match report i have read the coaches have commented about him lacking fitness and doing nothing for 3/4 of the game but having a decent quarter. Not good enough at AFL level.
Patronising you? You're talking gibberish. What reports are you looking at? Please refer me to the url? Deserves a chance, only fitness is the query and I am sure this will be discussed at the selection table.
Some Connors reports here:
20/5 Dan Connors
Produced a good, four-quarter effort. Kicked 4.2 and was clearly the team’s best forward. Hopefully, he has overcome the niggling injuries that have been restricting him in recent weeks and he can play consistent games of this standard over the next few weeks, to put pressure on for AFL selection.
12/5 Dan Connors
Had an outstanding first quarter, where he kicked three goals and should have had four. Looked set for a big one, but, unfortunately, his body seized up. Despite playing on for most of the game, his movement was restricted.
5/5 Dan Connors
A steady improvement from the previous week. Took some strong, contested marks and put himself in good positions to win the ball. His return of 18 disposals, with six shots at goal, is a decent standard to build on.
22/4 Dan Connors
It was great to see Dan back after a few weeks off with injury. As a result, he played only 60% game time, but he looked lively around the ball and took his usual ‘hanger’. More game time next weekend and, hopefully, he will start to produce the high standard of football he is capable of.
