Connors is unable to reply on here, and shouldn’t have to. I would be most surprised if the players aren’t banned from posting on here, and more than likely are told not to read it.

Yep, if I was a player I wouldnt be reading stuff that people say on ANY footy forums.

Nor would I care what people say on said forums.

For what it's worth, I had a crack at Connors on Twitter for using the F word in one of his twitter posts. I've said it before but he seems like a right twat off the field. He may however provide us with something we need on field, if he ever gets another crack at it.

On pure form he'd be in, but in terms of fitness, still needs a few weeks of match conditioning.

Interesting Rosy that the perception on here is very negative towards Dan. Shane Edwards said in his interview that he tries to emulate Conners in his approach to the game because his preperation is so good. And desptie his party boy antics, he did get injured a couple of pre seasons ago through doing extra work and overtraining.

My perception of him is that when he lets his hair down he does not know when to stop, he has admitted to having some issues with drinking, he may well be the Jekyll and Hyde type. Great around the club during the day, a nightmare after hours when he gets on the turps.

Rr jekyll and hyde, sounds like 50% of the male population, there are plenty of blokes that drink too much and become animals, our hospitals are full of bashing victims every weekend. Plenty of blokes out there that get drunk and bash their wives and kids.( not saying connors has done that, just highlighting the issues related to alcohol) Plenty of drug issues in society too, crime is driven by substance abuse)
Unfortunately a footy player cannot escape the spot light.
Personally i don't care what he is like, he is not my mate, i just want him to play good footy, or make way for someone who can.
I have an opinion, leave him alone, if he had stuffed up again, I reckon he would have been sacked.

Seems to be doing the right things in the VFL and is doing well up forward. Has kicked 11 goals in the last 3 games.

Hopefully gets his fitness right and gets another shot and makes the most of it.

Agree.

Saying it is a fact does not make it so unless you have some proof you're willing to share. If not then don't bother even mentioning it. Suggesting Dan could come on here and defend himself and deny it is laughable. Probably doesn't even know this website exists for starters.

PRE is a player sponsor so he should be aware of it. all spotlight people have to put up with public (and fribge media) on the Internet
