I say NO to defensive nous. We want mercurial, intuitive, fast, game breaking, attacking, dancing, magical, breathtaking, jaw dropping, ambidextrous, natural, instinctive. NO defensive nous. none.

And speaking of 19 year olds, I really hope we grab Nathan Drummond after the first couple of rounds. Really like the kid and think he could do a Tom Langdon and come in and paly next year.
I don't know what to think with our first pick anymore. Top class mid would be great but geez we could do with a monster forward.

There are huge wraps on the lad. Huge, he may go number 1. I'm not sure what position he ends up playing. To start with he will be a third forward because he doesn't have the tank of a junior onballer at the moment. He could end being a big tall onballer like Mundy with a bit of Stevie J about him. Bit for me, he is a much more aggressive Jack Watts. They both played state basketball, they both play forward in the TAC and they both weren't fit enough. Although Petracca is more aggressive, he is coming from a long way back fitness wise. I think he goes top 10 but how high, I'm not sure.

I think he will be used in both forward and midfield duties at the senior level. How good he can be at either or both questions is a bit harder to judge.
