Any relation to Byron? Because Williams and Hardwick would no doubt know him well... Dont know if Byron would spend much time on the ground with the current MRP rules.

Watch out for Shannon Taylor from Frankston. Moves like Yarran, smooth silky.

I think we need to change the title though.

We need draft prospects who can play the game urgently. Any of those other parameters would be cream on the cake.

With the likelihood that we'll finish bottom 4 (if not 2) who's everybody's top 10 draft prospects this year?

A good draft this year for talls.

Sam Durdin and Hugh Goddard will go early.

There is a classy forward/mid at Oakleigh who may be good for our 2nd pick/ De Goey. good hands.

Good call Evo. Keep an eye on him. Has class and time. Not sure about his ball winning abilities but there is silk.

I think he is a rowing star as well at St Kevins. I'll touch base with someone in the APS schools system and see what they think.

Not 100% on that but I agree with you theory. Will find out more.

Really going to throw myself into this draft crop and consume as much as I can.

My head screams NO, but my heart screams YES.

Josh Simpson from Freo.

I know I know, if he cant cope, for whatever reason in his hometown, hows he gonna handle punt road.

But. This kid is exactly the type we need. He moves through traffic and players go :shakehead and then half the time he'll swing onto his left and the other half his right. I have no idea which is his preferred side.

Obviously be a punt, but not big money involved and BIG upside.

surely more exhilarating and tantalising than some of the blokes weve rookied?

The last rowing star we recruited went on to win the JD last year. Good pedigree.

To those who have been watching the other leagues or players in the other states are there any Aboriginal young talent that we should be looking at?

With the facilities and the centre we have at Punt Rd I think we could do better than we have in the past.

Our last true Aboriginal talent , apart from Rioili was Mitchell.

We should find at least 2 with 1 rookied.

Pickett blitzed it today apparently, 21 touches, 3 goals, 5 clearances and 7 inside-50s.
