Changes Vs West Coast Eagles

I'd push Young to the forward line.
Baker down back
Balta back all game
Soldo and Ryan to ruck
Miller to be sent back to WA
Dow comes in for Cotch
Sonsie stays and plays the receiver role around the stoppages
Prestia back in only if he is not feeling anything. Pointless to come back in if he is hampered with an injury
One of Pickett or Kmac need a spell. Doing the hard running but counterproductive with their disposal which usually results in a turnover. We can no longer cover for that. Bring in Banks or Ralphsmith(only as a winger. NOWHERE NEAR THE BACKLINE)
Ross can go back to the 2s as well.

Give Steely Green a crack as the sub

Miller has to be an out, there is no spot for him right now.

Young is preferred down back.
Soldo in ruck.

Prestia if available is an obvious inclusion.

I don't like our forward line one bit at the moment. It is too slow.

I would bring back Mansell. Or we need to play Bolton as a full time forward. Or both.

Eagles only have 26 fit players this week. If we need to manage some players this may be the week for it although we can't afford to get too cocky considering we also suck.

Yeah Mansell is almost in by default as he's one of the few smalls we have left that can run fast. It really shows what we need to be going after in the MSD if we can get 2 picks.

Weighing up whether we need Dan Rioli to go back forward for a bit. Don’t need Baker Short and Rioli in the backline.

Yep easiest decision in the world is to give Dion another week's rest for the walkover game drop Sonsie and promote Dow after another good showing in the VFL despite the heavy loss:

Thomson Dow (28 disposals, 16 contested possessions, 11 clearances, five inside-50s)
