Changes Vs the Power Ranger

It wouldn't surprise me if the selectors give Astbury an extra week off to make sure he is fit and ready for the finals and go left field and pick Miller as the big defender. He was an emergency a couple of weeks ago and we should have the Crows covered OK to give him a game. Edwards back in is a must as is Chol with Broad a possibility due to his versatility and tank. Who goes out except the injured is hard to predict though as they all played well

Both are extremely flexible, tough, aggressive, experienced, big-bodied, mid-size players: can cover for either a small or a tall that goes down during the game. Even if they are not currently regarded as being in the starting 18, you need this level of versatility in your 22, especially in finals. Don't be surprised if they're both in the team when things get really serious.
Agree that Broad and Caddy are finals-playing hombres. BUT things have been serious for 4 weeks without them.
If they dont make the 22 they are 2 bloody high calibre emergencies

Very difficult match committee this week.
Only obvious outs are the two injuries.
Then we've got to try and fit in two or three returning from injury/isolation.
There's going to be at least one unlucky bloke this week, but that's the reality of our depth.

DTLD, Shedda and Chol will come in. Aarts or Ross will go out. I suspect it will be Aarts as Martin will play forward more in the Lynch role now

Reckon our backline is well balanced

we have 4 runners giving us alot of drive which teams won't be able to contain

the slow cats could not stop our rebound

so what do we do with dtld?

Adelaide are on hot form...they will seek revenge for 2017

Lose to Adelaide and elimination final awaits without Lynch.

He doesn't get a game for mine. If its not broken, don't fix it.

I love dave I really do, but does anyone remember him playing fwd . i do and he was ordinary at best i know we weren't any good then but im not to sure he will be that effective. The two obvious choices are Chol and edwards

He started as a foward.
He played in a pre season game in his first year when we were North Melbourne quality against Hawthorn and we got absolutly smashed and he kicked 2 goals.
He looked good. He moved really well considering his size.
Ever since that Sydney game when he first popped his knee cap, thats when i reckon he lost alot of mobility.
Regardless he has been a sensational player for us
He is the discipline teacher. No one fks around when he is near by.

Don't know why Dave has to go forward he flips in the back 6 simple as that. Chol can play that role and ruck and Caddy to.
