Changes vs St. Kilda

On form Sonsie and Banks come in. On structure, we need a mid/defensive forward and a small/crumbing forward.

In: Banks and Green. Banks plays wing, Kamdyn plays forward.

Sonsie to replace Hugo as sub

Mini has to work out our structure for this week.
2 hard nuts going out as well documented.
Banksy Debut? Don't know.
Amazing how many want Flappers out or as sub.
MUST stay in.
May not be a hard nut perse (in the Marly/Nigel mould) but is a very hard running machine.
Interesting MC night ponderings for Mastermind Mini.
Also nice side issue as mentioned before up against Ross The Boss from his Aints days!

Play Ross on ball, Hugo and banks on wings and give Macca a go in Picketts new role. Young can go back to magoos for the rest of year. Mj in too only on necessity

KMac is pretty flexible, so if we want to bring in a player on the wing then KMac can move forward, or even back if we need him to.

Talk of dropping KMac is insanity.

Correct there is practically no chance that Kmac is dropped whether that is completely out of the team or playing as sub. He will be in the starting 22 for sure unless injuries intervene.

Its going to be a really interesting team announcement tonight.

Assuming Mansell is out (they may select him tonight though) and Pickett, we are in a tricky spot in that the players that we have in the 2's in those positions aren't our best performing players in the 2's right now.

So we have 2 scenarios.
1 - Retain the structure / personnel that had us playing so well last week and put players (albeit players not performing as well at VFL level) that play those positions into the team
2 - Bring the best performing VFL players into the team and restructure around their inclusions

FWIW I would be surprised to see Hugo as the sub, with both AFL and VFL teams having a bye next week, it would be surprising to see him picked as the sub as post bye he won't have played much footy for a month, so he will either be in the AFL team (I suspect he will be) or in the VFL team.

I suspect we will select Mansell tonight but the emergencies will be interesting, possibly 1 or both of Coutlhard or Green will be selected there, though you'd think they'd play MRJ in place of him if Mansell remains suspended later this evening.

And he has played 2 good games, last week he was at season best form.

Once again afl/ticketmaster making it nearly impossible for fans to get to the games.
Looking to upgrade a mere 2 members tickets, system telling me there are no 2 seats available together anywhere...and I should look to request reduced numbers, from my 2.
Sure, ill have my kid sit on the opposite side of the ground. .....what a load of crap.

Miller's back in with Hugo and Pickett out. Looks like we're waiting for Mansell to be cleared.....I doubt that.

KMac can’t play forward. He can play back and has done so before, I think he took Vlastuin’s place after he was concussed in the 2020 grannie.

He is a straight ahead player, forwards need to run towards the ball and turn.

Not sure another tall defender was what we,re lacking.

It's well-established that I'm not Ben Capuano's biggest fan. But the selection makes sense in terms of role. Just compete, Ben. Don't be outmarked.

He'll play forward.
