Changes vs St. Kilda

Assuming AFL/RFC stick by Marlion he probably still needs a short break.
Justice to prevail in the Mansell case.

In Banks and Miller.
Out McIntosh, Pickett managed, and Ralphsmith sub.

B Young Grimes Balta
HB Broad Vlastuin Rioli
C Banks* Cotchin Short
HF Mansell Baker Martin
F Clarke Ryan Riewoldt
R Nankervis Taranto Bolton
I\C Graham, Miller, Prestia and Ross.
Sub McIntosh.
mcIntosh was a key factor of us winning the game. he took several overhead marks to repeal freo.

because he plays a completely diferent position. It will be either MRJ or Coulthard that replace Mansell you'd think, but neither really stood out today. Not sure if Cumbo will be fit.

Steely Green has been playing the Mansell role in the VFL. He could be a chance. Kicked 3 goals last week too

Good call, he's possibly a chance. Looked ok at the weekend too, but his goalkicking needs some work. Misses a lot of shots he should be putting through the big sticks.

Just wondering how the notion of a player being flexible enough to play more than one position fits into your thinking. Banks was not brought to the club to be a robot and play forever as a small back.
Sorry but Hutchy has left the building.

Banks came to us as a winger and has played half back and looks good in both positions, but how then do we cover Mansell in the forward line. Playing Banks there would be doing something that he's probably never trained for or played in that position.

Our balance was very good at the weekend, and I highly doubt we will swing players around when we played so well, we are far more likely to go like for like than do anything like swing players around.

I haven't said anything about being flexible enough (you are putting words in my mouth), but I would be completely shocked if Banks plays half forward / small forward on Saturday and thats what I replied to. Not sure where I inferred anyone was a robot.

I now don’t mind mansell in the side. Go figure. Getting a goal a game, goes in at 100miles an hr and runs hard.

Young OUT, We played one man down v Freo. Watched him very closely. He doesn't have good lateral movement, is slow by mind, well slow in general. To laconic for my liking, and doesn't show enough desperation. His one attribute is he SPOILS. Not enough tricks in the kit bag to warrant being in the seniors. I would much prefer another runner.

This has nothing to do with selection, but how did luke jackson get one coaches vote, when NanK completely beat him??????
