Changes v the Cats

I read the AFL match report, it's Dion's 200th game too.
Great to see Broad and Graham play versus WC, so important in the team.
Don't necessarily have to knock Stewart out, could be someone else.
Might be a role for Mansell, who has that gritty quality.
Has to be done artfully to avoid suspension.

As I said, personally, I don’t boo players.

I don't generally,

but I boo'ed Dangerfield enthusiastically at the Gabba GF,

and id do the same to Stewart if I was there on Friday night.

I personally think onfield thuggery is punishable by booing,

but for reasonably adjusted people, theres a statute of limitations of the game in which it occurred and the next.

then you move on.

if anyone wants to try conflate that POV with racism and free speech and political correctness,

give it your best shot.

Tigers by 13 points, subject to selection.

Pre bounce that does look ok when you lay it out like that but if one of those matchups doesn't work I'd like the extra defensive option.
Hawkins & Cameron are tough to stop.

Reckon we looked better with a more mobile backline last week.

Interesting how we play the talls of Soldo, Miller and Young.

No way should we go in with three again like Gold Coast game.

Leysy would be tempted to play only one (Miller or Soldo), to give us some sorely needed extra run.

If we aren't going to win this year's flag. Let's make others pay.
Balta takes out the fairy floss Cameron..
Baker puts Stewart into next week.
And Vaulstin 'Dennis Banks' Hawkins.

Agree. I thought it was worth playing both Miller and Soldo in Soldo's first game back, but Ryan is a more than capable back up ruck.
And likewise we are probably best served using just the 3 talls down back, along with Vlastuin. we could then use our 3 gun half backs across half back. (or Ralphsmith,)

Prefer Soldo does the job on Shovekins
Shovekins pushed Balta into Soldo that wrecked his knee

Neil Balme artfully would be just fine with me.

Prestia's 200 and the great Bash is the Homecoming Hero this week. Make that #14 proud again Timmy Boy.

We just need everyone to mention to Stewart as they walk past "Guess what", when he says "what", they reply "Marlions gonna get ya". All variations of that. Doesn't need to get him per se, big hard hits but might be enough to have him hearing footsteps to rush his disposal and maybe drop a few marks. Get him way off his game.

It would concern me if I thought I was going to be crunched by Marlion at any second
Both have significant outs but Lynch is the big one here. Similar to cats if they had no J Cameron.

If we are able to score heavily as we did against the Eagles, i.e. finding ways to kick goals without Lynch then this will go a long way in winning the match.

We have our entire midfield so I would say we would win the midfield battle, just have to capitalise going inside 50
Not enough.

But, but, he's only just left recently. Then he came back to give Tarantino his jumper and now he's coming back again for a homecoming. Bloke b hovering round like a dunny budgy at an outhouse in summer time. Guessin maybe he loves us long time.

Agree, and double teaming Cameron would be good 'cos he runs up and down the ground all day long, you need to have players on him in tandem to try and nullify the run.

DS
I'm almost certain that's how we'll play him. Because we play team defence normally, anyway. As per usual, Broad, Grimes, Floss and maybe even Young will 'take turns' on Jizza. I think Balta will have to tackle the Big Shove as we have nobody else near strong enough in the contest.

Miller a possibility but doubt Soldo can be relied on to stand up in the ruck. Will be needed on Blicavs et al.
