It ends our season earlier for mine, and we are pretty much going nowhere without Nank anyway lets be serious about it.

We dont even have Choldo this year to fall back on.

It just allows us to throw the kids in get the veterans right and extra rested for their last campaign next year. (Chimpa and JR8).

Will be able to get games into Jud, Sonsie and Banks which will be beneficial rather than Aarts and Castagna.

We get the right new blood in next year (ready made) we will still be in a position to contend with the bulk of our key players still there hopefully with some quality fresh blood to raise us the gear required. That will be an upgrade of the lack of input from players like Sheds, George, Lambo. etc this year.

We also need some better assistant coaches. Kingsley is good but there aint much else going on, the loss of Fly and Leppa has been easy to see.

The pre season conditioning needs to be rectified however., they obviously got that wrong last year with their timing.

This year might have been the step back required to take us two forward next year for a shot at it.

If Dusty Balta Cotch and Stack aren't right then these changes are spot on.

One bloke I don’t want to see in is Parker. One of the worst disposers of a ball I’ve ever seen. We’d be better off going in a player short. Admittedly we went in two short last night with George and Aarts. The three of them should be jettisoned during the off season. We know what they give and it’s not anything we can use.

I seem to remember Miller was trialled as a ruck in the VFL and did Ok, nothing startling but did OK. He is the same height (allegedly) as Nanks and can jump better. If we are so short of rucks and if Dimma is wary of Ryan then what have we to lose with Nanks out and Soldo playing injured?
