Changes v Freo

.for me chol is the wild card.
.play him as a mobile floating tall forward pocket who chops out midfield...will be a changed man with nando hombre backup & no ruck duties
.tom & jack will appreciate as will dusty & cotch...no one can go with in full flight ..our biclavs
.the final piece of the jigsaw...try it for freo....seriously, dow now?...good hands but not ready for geelong/final
.broad for grimes
.chol for dow
.edwards for rioli eventually...sorry daniel ur spark needs a serious pre season

Cotch mentioned Phantom Miller as a possible replacement for Grimes. Hahaha. If that happens I will do a nudey run down the middle of Metricon and give Conca a Conca cuddle

Out - Grimes (inj)
In - The Phantom (Miller)
Exactly

He has been mentioned a few times by the coaches and needs to be given a game to take a look at what he has to offer , 196cm 95kgs and big tank with great speed (2.91) and agility.

Has all the tools and been on the list the same time as Balta/Higgo/Naish/CCJ

Perhaps we can bring in Elvis, Big Foot or the Loch NESS Monster as well?

Number 1 rule, In Dimma we trust :))

Broads a must , Gartwaite must be some kind of chance to maintain structure, I’d like to see Caddy comeback in, however I’m not sure who he pushes out of the forward half as he doesn’t offer the pressure Aarts and George do.

Like to see Dow get another gig, especially against a young midfield

Be a big test for the backline without Grimes and Astbury as generals back there. Taberner 198cm and Lobb 207cm are both tall lads.

One soldier down and another comes in - 2 time premiership defender Nathan Broad would be a handy Inclusion!

Agree with this incl Dow to get another game.
And that probably means there no room for Caddy
Not a bad sign though to have a bloke that that unable to get a spot in the team

Looks like Broad is our only option. Garthwaite still another week away while Astbury looking more like the Adelaide game.

I wouldnt say that. If Broad is being re tooled in the scratchies they might be loathe to send him back to defence now.

There is zero chance that Broad is being retooled. Straight up swap with Grimes.

Unless injuries or fatigue, Broad for Grimes. Fremantle strong midfield & dangerous forward but look average defensively. Control clearance will be the key factor. GWS were at their best yesterday & did exactly that.

Are we giving up on Higgins for the year? Would love to see him back.

Higgo and Stackie might have missed the boat.

Higgo's lack of pace, slow decision making and at times poor disposal have probably hurt him this year but he certainly has done well on his return from a bloody serious health issue so kudos to the lad.

Stackie is nigh on toasted for the year, I reckon and as much as I love the kid and the way he goes about it when on, he just hasn't been anywhere near it this year in the 10 odd games he's had a few of those gifted to see if he could lift himself but he couldn't.

Has lost his place which is being warmed by Dow for a couple of weeks experience then it will be going to Edwards as soon as he's ready.

Dow, Grover, Aarts, and Markov are all ahead of them right now and they are all under threat of losing their places over the coming weeks to Edwards, Broad, Astbury, Caddy, and Prestia.
