It is an opinion, not up for debate. I just don’t agree with you.

Asked this question of someone else in a different thread, but it's worthy of asking again. Who n how many in the senior side the last few weeks has AFL standard kicking??? Butchered ourselves out of a few victories in recent weeks n none of it was Rossy's fault.
Wrong...........Jack's disposal stacks well.........very well, against his teammates, and he's getting better.

Ok, he must've got lucky today when he laced out McDonagh with a 40 metre pass for a goal, or when he kicked a goal himself from outside 50Why is it so hard for everyone?
In a year where speed of ball movement has never been greater, you have Ross who receives the ball and … neatly delivers by hand to someone five metres away.
Or he takes a little 15m dart pass that gets us nowhere fast.
Dustin Martin has a lowish DE but these stats have little to do with how the game unfolds on any given day.
Please let’s not rely on DE when talking about Ross.
So Taranto is all silk mate. I reckon JRoss actually is a much better kick than him and quite a few others who are getting picked weekly.ROSS'S KICKING IS NOT AFL STANDARD

Far better that he uses precise medium distance disposals to put team mates into time n space rather than our senior nuffies pin pointing opposition players with long distance dump kicks or dish off scrubby half metre hand passes that simply put the receiver under extreme pressure in heavy traffic. Why is it so hard for everyone?

Sad thing about comments like this, is that over the years there's been a constant stream of us expert fans making these same sort of comments about Grigga, Bash, Towner, KMac, Presty, Nank, Short, George, Soldo, Nigel, Rossy, Raaalllph, etc etc during stages of their careers. It never stops n more often than not it's simply just wrong.ROSS'S KICKING IS NOT AFL STANDARD

I think it’s the price of nursing cotch to 300. I don’t like it.How Jack Ross , and yeah we know his shortcomings, doesn't get an extended run in the firsts is a little beyond me ..
others get a gig who do less than him
tore it up in the VFL today against a very strong Casey Ds and basically led the team
Lucky AgainOk, he must've got lucky today when he laced out McDonagh with a 40 metre pass for a goal, or when he kicked a goal himself from outside 50
Good post. I got Grigg wrong but he got a great go at it and was given plenty of time.Sad thing about comments like this, is that over the years there's been a constant stream of us expert fans making these same sort of comments about Grigga, Bash, Towner, KMac, Presty, Nank, Short, George, Soldo, Nigel, Rossy, Raaalllph, etc etc during stages of their careers. Every era there's a handful of players that are premium elite, a big bunch of players that are very good and an even bigger bunch of players that are moderately competent at AFL level and make up the bulk of most teams each year.
The game itself will sort out the wheat from the chaff, then the coaches simply try to make the best use they can of the entire mix that they have. They get it right they chase flags, get it wrong n they collect spoons n chase new jobs.
