They need to see where Astbury is at re match fitness. Same with Caddy. Doesn't mean Oleg's on the outer. We know what we'll get with Markov - tick. We know what we'll get with Broad - tick. Need to see whether others are a tick or a cross.

.we only took 37 bloody years to work it out ...we binged on pace recruiting & ended up light years ahead...now ur telling me u don't understand it?
.I'm not interested in responses from proven clinically slow, great 2 years ago caddys & astos with half a scratch match (last years balta no room for both) ..work it out...our half back line (all quarter backs) short baker markov combined with speed of grimes & balta are the envy of the comp...& now u've disbanded.
.as for the broad (quintessential plays tall & short with speed) total disrespect without explanation = fan disrespect

Our strength over last 4 years is built on a lot of factors including speed of ball movement not just foot speed. Balta in for Broad is an improvement and Markov was not in either of our premiership teams. I'm happy for Broad to come back in if needed but Astbury at his best fills an important role so we need to see if he is at his best.
Is Graham an example of bingeing on pace recruiting? So we've recruited pace where we need it and other skill-sets where they are needed.
The match committee don't have to explain their selections and nor should they; imagine the bun fight that would open up.
I think RFC have the runs on the board to make the right calls...most of the time.
Imagine being the first club to unfurl 2 flags on the one day in Rd1 2021.
