Changes V Crows

Cant get too cocky re this game - wet and windy brings teams closer and will ADL want to finish last?? Maybe they will to get No 1 spot - dunno. Tigers must come with killer attitude or will get behind and find it too bloody hard to play catch up footy

There is also the theory that the more skillful sides are better in the wet.

Tigers chaos, the exception to most modern footy rules.

Tigers are the Reverse Mullet.

Tigers are "Business down the Back" and "Party up the Front"!

So looks like possibly 4 changes. Edwards, Astbury, Chol definitely in and Soldo, Lynch, Bolton definitely out. Broad, Miller, Caddy being considered. Prestia to play scratch match in weekend before first final. Most best players potentially back available by first final.

Gotta say I’m more nervous this week compared to last week. I know we should get the win, but still....

Adelaide area
Saturday
Possible rainfall: 8 to 15 mm Chance of any rain: 95%
Cloudy. Very high (95%) chance of showers, most likely in the morning and afternoon. The chance of a thunderstorm in the morning and afternoon. Winds northeasterly 15 to 25 km/h turning northwesterly during the day.

Rain makes me more comfortable about this game. I think it has the opportunity to be a real danger game, but if its wet - i back us a lot more to get the job done.

Crows will be tough. And Ol Tex is a likely to go out "Al Lynch" style against us - he hates us after 2017

They would probably love nothing more than to knock us out of the top 4.

The only thing they may want to see more is Port getting bashed in the GF or not making it.....hence they need to roll over and let us finish 3rd and we can accommodate their desire to see the Kochies get steamrolled.

Its an interesting scenario

If North win, then Crows are guaranteed the #1 pick and will likely try like hell to beat us - but it wont matter us much to us as we will finish in 4th still as the Eagles lost.

If North lose, then if they win they move to pick #2. The coach would be desperate to get the #1 pick so he can re-build the team ASAP.

I don't really care what happens as long as we play the Lions in the 1st week of finals.

We want to play Brisbane in Brisbane instead of Port in Adelaide.
WC have had a shyte start and I can't see Geelong losing.

Adelaide oval is not a happy hunting ground for us. Add our growing injury list and we are no certainty.

It will be a tough hard game. We will have players who will not be game fit. I'm nervous - am I negative or realistic?

All I know is we need to play two genuine rucks. We were at our worst this year when had part timers like Broad or Macintosh as that relief ruckmen.

We have to win now the double chance is far from a given.
Yep, but if we can't beat the Crows in the last round, we won't beat any of the finalists anyway.
Very confident the boys will get the win and lock up the double chance.

I can understand the nervous thoughts that some people have....yes, it’s a danger game, it’s in Adelaide, they have improved a touch over the past month, they would love to beat us etc.....However, seriously, we are a comfortable 10 goal better side , we’ve had a good break, there will be guys busting a gut to ensure they secure a spot in the 22 for finals, but most of all......the Crows will be “brave” but will throw the game due to Norf losing to the Eagles....the number 1 pick is on the line
