Lambert is bing managed after was it a hip injury, ditto Daniel came off limping with something?
I like Astbury, Caddy, Chol and Edwards for Lambert, Lynch, Rioli and Soldo.
IMO and barring fresh injury, Chol, Graham, Lambert, Ross and Edwards are a lock for our first final.

Astute did you read where Broad played wing, ruck. If correct, but only my personal assumption here, a plan "C", if Chol is not effective, Broad to play ruck - a further option?
Yeah mate, as per the below scrimmage game summary, Broad played mostly wing with stints in the ruck, by all reports played really well.
Spot on, Chol will play 2nd ruck, but I think Nank will ruck for most of the qtr with Chol giving him a chop out for like 5 mins a qtr.
Heaven forbid if Chol or Nank got injured Broad would be the likely choice to come in as 2nd ruck. Broad has a good motor and trying him out on the wing could be another weapon up Dimma's sleeve. Macca and Pickett doing well, but Broad could also add another dimension to rotations etc

“Played the majority of the game down back, and a little bit of time on the wing. He continued to work on stepping into contests and that’s a part of his game which he has improved in. We all know that he can use the ball well when he does get the ball in hand and plays to his strength.”

“Played his first game since a knee injury in Round 4. He played the first half and looked good in the contest at times and controlled the backline as best he could. He took a couple of nice contested marks which was great, and it was good to see him back out on the park, although only being a half.”

“Looked dangerous, playing half-forward pretty much the whole game. He kicked four goals and had some really good moments with his speed out the back and beating his opponent back towards goals.”

Cotchin? I don't think they will rest him, especially with the bye straight after this game.
Chol and Edwards agree. Not sure if they will make a 3rd change but if they do I think it could well be broad.
Astbury played 48 mins so not sure if they give him another scrimmage game or straight in, if he's straight in then broad won't come in.

Really? I thought he was ok didn't think the hit was anything substantial. He spoke after the game in the rooms with Shorty seemed fine.

On a serious note, I think Jack R mentioned he has eyesight issues. I assume he wears contact lenses. If not, imagine how good he will be if he does...
I know lambo has been down on form, needs to find more of the ball and hit the scoreboard like early on this year but can't see him being dropped, he has an exemption like Castagna

Tough as nails. Can't believe that wasn't a free to cotch. Anyway, think he'll play cant afford to take this game lightly.
