Think as a one off we could have gone with Pickett as the back up ruck and omit Soldo for a bit more speed. Saints often go with a smaller back up ruck, or have occasionally used Cordy. Regardless, not ideal having Nank or Soldo splitting time playing forward

I am not suggesting Ryan is the next coleman medalist (well not yet anyway) but he is the future. And yes long term he takes over from Nank. But right now playing Nank and Soldo in the same team is pure madness. Even more crazy at Marvel. We all saw it last week.

Yes this is crazy.
He has poise and skill and is the future.
I would have used K Mac in a different role or omitted him..he had a poor game.
Perhaps Pickett is going to the wing but I doubt it.

So which senior players took the wrap for last week absolutely none as usual , and who got dropped Banks and Mansell pathetic same old. Again going with Nank and Soldo hasn't work we don't change it and bring Ryan no idea. Give Sonsie last 2 games of year he hasn't been bad at vfl.

We don't take that approach. Otherwise Sonsie, Brown and Ryan would've played more.

Ryan hasn't carved up a VFL game since going back. A lot of talk that he's too good for VFL level. Not showing it.

Because Sonsie had 31 touches and performed at a very high-level last week. And Ryan did not. Earned not given. Ryan got given a lot of games early in the year because of necessity that were gifted, now he is being made to earn them on form.

I'd rather Soldo play the rest of the year and potentially have Sydney or Geelong or any club needing a ruck throwing out a pick then gift your golden child and messiah an unearned game. Just show me where Ryan has ripped apart the VFL after going back??

I think other clubs are fully aware of what Soldo gives by now. He's contracted in 2024 anyway. We're not looking to trade him, we have a lack of ruckmen. We've given far few games to youngsters this year (and last).

Because he's been our best midfielder in the VFL for the last 6 weeks, it shouldn't be at Banks' expense but he deserves a game.

The mc decisions made this season reflects the ladder position. I wonder what the players think concerning "integrity selection". Surely precedent has been set by such poor decisions on a regular basis.
