The footage was pretty ordinary to watch but I don't think it was as bad as it seems.

Pickett isn't the first and won't be the last low base contract player to have concerns about potential injuries. For him match payments represent a big percentage of his wage so given his financial issues it is hard to blame him if that is on his mind.

I think everyone would also be comfortable with Houli being selective for when to go as well at his stage of career.

Another thing that is massively overblown is the footage of a couple of guys laughing after the game. Is there anyone who wouldn't think it was ok to knock off after a tough day at work and meet a mate for a beer and a laugh to get away from it? These guys give up the beer, surely they don't have to give up laughing as well.
Poor or selfish attitude is like a cancer in a team if one or two players practice it and are excused other players will soon be doing it.

Bolton should have a quiet word to Picket and tell him of his lazy habits of not putting pressure on the opposition in the past and how that cost him a lot of senior games.

Life is good now for Shai because when it is his time to pressure on he goes hard.

If Houli is going to be selective the why have him in the team at this stage of his career, I believe that you will find that either one or two tings occurred.

The other Richmond player called for it and he pulled out of the contest or he pulled out of the contest and is kicking himself for doing so.

Houli seems to have worked hard over the last few years to put himself in bad positions for the sake of the team so I am going to go with the other player calling him out of

the contest. (with no crowd you can now hear your team mates).

*The pickett one in the pocket was bad.
*The pickett one ducking his head was worse.
*Bolton not going for the ball was soft
*But the Houli one, 100% broad or big V called him not to go.

RICHMOND may be tempted to drop a couple of poor performers from its loss to Hawthorn as it prepares to face St Kilda this weekend.

Superstar Dustin Martin will train this week and should be right to play after missing last round’s game due to bruised ribs. Whether he’s 100 per cent, though, remains to be seen.

Premiership backman Liam Baker is back from Western Australia and will be available for selection after missing the Hawks loss due to a family matter. Other players that could be considered include Kamdyn McIntosh and Thomson Dow, while big men Toby Nankervis or Noah Balta could come in to bolster the Tigers’ ruck department against the top-heavy Saints.

But it’s who goes out that’s just as intriguing.

After kicking three goals in Round 1, Dan Rioli has failed to fire with six touches in each of his past two matches. Sydney Stack had 18 disposals against Hawthorn but six clangers, while Marlion Pickett and Jack Graham have both struggled to make impact in the past fortnight during Richmond’s draw to Collingwood and defeat at the hands of Hawthorn.

The Tigers made a big selection statement for last year’s Grand Final, picking Pickett to make his debut on the biggest AFL stage. Could they make big calls for this weekend’s match, considering they’re now 1-1-1 in a 17-round season?

Bold selection there Rfc4Ever, Aarts did play well in Scratch Match so if forward line keeps functioning as it has been the last 2 weeks he may yet get his chance.

Even the week before even though it wasn't pretty, still drew with everyone's darling & flag favourite Collingwood.

Still can't believe how lightly they were let off by the media for choking against a terribly undermanned Giants in the prelim.

After last weeks *smile* poor effort I wouldnt be against Aartsy getting a run as you know he will work his arse off.

He's a pretty handy converter too and hard at it.

Is he available? Wasn't he given a 4 match ban at the end of last year that needs to be served at the start of this season?

The site that can't be named has an article "Are the Tigers winging it? Richmond's quest to find the perfect combo". Basically a copy and paste from PRE, one poster mentioned Fraser Turner as a replacement a couple days ago, surprise surprise he got his name in. Be careful PREers big brother is watching.

Big Aarts fan and would be happy to see him take Rioli's spot. Don't think it will happen.

I’m pretty sure he’s good to go as he missed the VFL GF and 3 matches this year. I’m a big fan and think he should replace Rioli. He was comfortably our best small forward against the pies in that scratch match. He’s tough, has a huge motor but also has plenty of x-factor!
