cant see a changes thread?

Out: Hopper (calf), Miller

In: Sonsie, Ivan

should keep us even and get it done. Hopefully Danny is OK.

Nank maybe a smokey to return instead of Ivan?

either way, Sampson will revel as 2nd ruck.

I want to see Sonsie back in but not sure if he’s done enough? Had 23 touches on the weekend but does anyone know how many clearances/contested possessions he had and if he actually dominated?

Fair enough - im trying to go like for like on anticipated outs.

I think jack graham or marlion go into the middle to replace hopper

And then we need a high HF?

And Thats not about possessions or goals, its about selfless workrate. Currently that excludes cumberland i reckon.

And i reckon Sonz has the biggest motor of our kids and it would be a great opportunity to run Up and down all day, for 10 disposals and no goals.

It wont impress many on here, but it will impress the *smile* out of the coach

Only forced changes after a win like that.
Allows us to go a bit taller down back.

In Young
Out Clarke sub and Hopper

B Young Balta Grimes
HB Baker Broad Rioli
C McIntosh Bolton Short
HF Cotchin Graham Prestia
F Mansell Riewoldt Miller
R Ryan Martin Taranto
I/C Pickett Ralphsmith Ross Vlastuin
Sub probably Clarke again after vfl match yesterday.

If Nank is cleared to play he will play ahead of Soldo.

Nank even if cleared to play most likely wont be 100%

How tall are the Bongers playing at the minute?

Mighht not need to worry about bringing Young back in.

Broady back has the backline back to 2019 2020 dimensions Vlas Grimes Balta and Broad is Vlas Grimes Astbury and Broad.

Not quite sure what you mean there Craigo. Enjoying a good day celebrating with Mum ?
Young needs every opportunity to gain experience. ESS have a tall forward line. Our Mids are better even without Hopper and we have no highly skilled mids crying out for inclusion at the minute.
Good reason to get Young back in this week.

Nank is straight back in.

Would look at Cumberland back in and shuffle players to cover Hopper. More midfield minutes for Cotch, Dusty, Ross and Shorty

I dunno about Nank straight back in.

Sampson is a better ruckman.

Nanks a warrior and a leader. But we have a few of those in the side.

Our turn around in form has coincided, directly or otherwise, with a Ruckman who can tap to advantage.

If Nank is 100% fit, he comes in. If he's carrying anything, I don't see the necessity. He hasn't been anywhere near his best for a season and a half anyway.

Watched most of the magoos game Sat mid morn. Turned off halfway through the third qtr until early in the last because we were playing very Richmondy footy so missed the turnaround in our game.
The Cummerbund was totally ineffective in the first half and a bit, but apparently was influential in our turnaround that got us back into the game.
Don't know yet what to make of Sonzarelli, was bloody poor against Mould Coast. Bobble handed him his arse on a plate. He ran up n down the ground, got some midfield time and had some ball in the VFL, but pretty much every game I've watched him play, I'm just seeing beige. For all the hype n hoopla n promise of potential stardom, I've yet to see anything that says Yeah, Nah, pay attention idiot n watch more closely, he's doing *smile* that translates to being premium.
Long way to go for another of our kids that's just started learning the ropes at premium footy level, but for now he's just somewhere in the pecking order with Raaalph, Nigel, Funky, Clarkey n Rossy.
