Captain 2022

Don’t like the idea of co-captains. Pick one guy and back him in.
However 2 great tigers so happy for both of them

Excellent choices.

Dylan Grimes - What a star.

Toby Nankervis - Changed our footy club.

I love it.
Uhmm.....really?

Grimo's 30 and Nank is a quiet bloke. Wouldn't a younger player be better as VC at least? or do we change again in 2 years or so?

The interesting thing about this double appointment is that Grimes will probably only have another couple of seasons left in him. This will leave Nanks as the future sole Captain of our club. Being relatively young, he’s got a long reign ahead of him.
May both he and the club prosper

Congrats to Dylan and Toby.

Didn't see Nank coming but what a great addition.

Go Tiges!

The bloke's quiet?? I suppose the players know each other better than I do, but.....bit shocked.

The Nank as skipper didn't see it coming but love it

Grimes is a warrior
No need to have him share the wheel

I don't mind Grimes getting it (he was probably my first choice all things considered), can do it for 3 years. Nankervis doesn't make a lot of sense, with his injury record but he's clearly a leader by example on field. The broader leadership group may be telling as to who is next man up.

Maybe it's to give the younger ones a bit more time to season. I'd say this will last for 2 or 3 years.

Process was run by Shane McCurry. Hasn’t put a foot wrong yet so backing the co-captaincy in. Good luck fellas

Not a fan of the co-captain thing. Would rather one or the other. But I think both are good selections although Nank is an interesting one given his apparent reluctance to build his public persona. I guess we know who will be doing the press conferences! However he certainly does lead by example.

Good luck to them both; well deserved.

Great choices, both wonderfully inspiring amongst the playing group and respected for their hardness amongst the fans
