Callum Coleman-Judas - extricate yourself to Nth Ballarat, you git

I,d like to see how Criminal Jones plays footy over the next 17 VFL/Afl games before we commit to shipping him out.

This should go on the rumour board.
But Tommy Green wants to return to Victoria.
GWS still talking to Cj.
Straight swap??

I would do that , Tom Green will be a Oliver type accumulator and very very young so 12 year player

We currently have Nank , Samson , Soldo and Mate coming

If CJ wants to leave then Green is a great trade

If Tom Green wasn't the grandson of a former premiership Tiger would anyone be talking about getting him to the club?

I never saw Michael play so don't romanticise about Tom playing for us.

Regardless, I don't see his type, a one paced ball winner, as a priority, would rather see what CJ can do.

Totally agree.

Having watched a bit of Green, his skillset isn't what we look for in midfielders.

His Grandpa was a terrific player.

A strong inside mid but no leg-speed. Not our type at all. Guys like that are too limited; cannot use the ball offensively - get caught or turn it over.

Big men are more valuable.
CJ although relatively untried is more valuable than Green (an inside midfielder) with the shape of the game as it is currently.

It will be a huge mistake not giving him a block of games to see his capabilities the kid has talent no doubt. Like Tiger of old said big men more valuable then midfielder's I want to see CCJ in that side.

Me too but the whispers are not going away
Are they whispers or just logical deductions from trade hacks.
CCJ was penalised for a covid breach, ergo he will be traded.
GWS need a ruck so he is heading north.
So who would GWS trade- Green - there it is! We have a trade whisper.
Its repeated and bounced around and like an echo chamber seems louder than when it started. Even these thread chats add fuel to the fire.
Similar to the Broad "whispers " until he was playing in a 3rd premiership.

Imo the whispers are fanciful and more guesswork than inside knowledge.

Do we really have quality rucks on our list that affords us to ship off CCJ?

Nank aside, there a question marks on all of them. Soldo is coming off a knee, Sampson barely been in the system for 5 minutes and Mate is an ex basketball player who has yet to kick the ball in anger.

CJs value keeps increasing the more he doesn’t play...

So are all emergs playing bar one?
Ross as senior sub?

This is a balls up.
These rules on the fly.
Sub sits there gathering dust then gets dropped because he didn't play.
And still gets credited with the game.
A lot of back-slapping at Gilquarters!
Nuffies.

I’ve what I saw today of the VFL, CJ was probably one of the very few positives, decent stuff from Naish, Stack an Martyn

Based on today alone, CCJ's the most valuable player at the club not getting AFL games. Our much vaunted depth is looking shallower as time goes on. The necessary off loading of fringe players each year may be finally taking its toll.
