Big big mistake to let CCJ go ! He will be a star and it will come back to bite us!!
We should be prepared to let only one of these go and it isn't CCJ
Yep this .. I guess if they let both go (probably not our 100% our choice ) . Then Samson Ryan becomes very important. Maybe we see him as potentially a better player than CCJ ?
As you say, we don't know what is happening behind closed doors so maybe your thoughts are right but a ruck takes time to develop and we have put four years into CCJ and only one season into Ryan and he certainly needs more work before becoming an AFL regular
I would do the CCJ / Hollands trade. Take the punt that Hollands can develop into a gun mid who can go forward ala King Dusty.

Yep, i think you're thinking about a minimum 2 year's contract for each player picked at the national draft. Tom Boyd who was first pick in the national draft was traded the following season
Yes Chol is UFA because he's previously been delisted, we get nothing if he leaves & i doubt the offer to leave would get us any compo
