Bye Bye Jack Higgins!

Didn't notice him much last night. could he be running out of gas ?

I did. Poise, calm and a very smart footy brain. Unbelievable for a first year player.

I think our second tier midfielders missed having Chimp out there

Well done to Snags for finishing 4th in the Rising Star. Amazing effort to finish above Rayner, Richards, Ronke, Florent etc. Pretty good when the premier drafts the 4th best junior going around

fantastic effort. He's been a tad underrated IMO. He's spent a fair chunk of time in the midfield for the top side and reigning premier, that says it all. Been fantastic in the air too which is amazing, both for his size and age. Only knock is his kicking and in particular all those missed sodas. He's be on the league leaderboard for missed set-shot sodas I reckon.

He's deadly accurate from inside the goal square though.

Congrats Higlet. 4th place is a fantastic effort.

true enough and if he had of nailed most of them , would have been runner up IMHO

Amazing effort - well done Higgins.

Agree - for the Premiers to get 4th best shows you just need to know what your doing come draft day

Yep, bloody ripping effort from the Higlet, to not only break into the reigning premiers team but to hold his place ahead of so many other more experienced players.

Stiff not to either win or come 2nd.

The Seagull that hangs out the back and cheats won it.

;D

Lucky to get finish so high. Missed way too many easy shots for goal

agree. I would have had him runner up anyway, but I can be a bit biased. 8-

Anyone do a comparison of Stephenson and Higgo as far as stats go? I thought Higgo showed more. Do they take team motivation and creativeness into account?

I thought Ronke and Rayner should have more votes....who's Alex Witherden?

Final votes

52 Jaidyn Stephenson (Coll)
42 Tom Doedee (Adel)
32 Alex Witherden (Bris)
11 Jack Higgins (Rich)
10 Jack Henry (Geel), Ollie Florent (Syd)
4 Cameron Rayner (Bris)
2 Ben Ronke (Syd)
1 Aaron Francis (Ess), Ed Richards (WB)
