seems to be correct (which you always are of course). But he blatantly lied to the fans. He said publically numerous times this year that he had no intention of leaving. He was insinuating that the club was pushing him out.

A few months ago I thought the same thing but if you read this story at least Brett never catagorically says he,ll be at RFC in 2017.

I was about to ask how it went from this:

a month ago to BD allegedly clearing out his locker but when I reread this article he never says his future is with RFC. Just says its "noise" and that he's "contracted".

benny and peggy ,Francis Jackson,Dan Richardson,Blair Hartley if you want names , all need to be REMOVED from their positions BEFORE this club can move forward
Francis Jackson will finally be gone and i have been on about him now for 6 years - Should never have been allowed to destroy our list for so long ( He is actually a coach killer)

Blair - Contracted but cant see him going on beyond his contract
Richardson , Why do you think hes not much chop ?

I have no issue with Gale & Peggy

Our onfield issue's have been totally Recruiting and Development and the players brought to the club are all on BH imo

I've said it on here before, he was shopping himself. Club got wind and asked the question.

I said the same thing months ago and got howled down by the lids lovers. The guy has tickets on himself and has for a long time

After that many years of dud coaching I would actually think less of him if he didn't shop himself around.
There is only so much crap football a man can take before he cracks.
12 years & 240 odd games of poor coaching and its a credit to him he didn't leave earlier.

Good luck to him.

Questions should be asked of our CEO and president when a 2-year contract extension was given to our mediocre coach at a time when a wait-and-see policy should have been executed. On top of which the club has shown a financial loss this year which reflects badly upon these two.

And now more money has to be spent on the increasing layers of bureaucracy and what looks suspiciously like an attempt to “prop” up Hardwick in 2017 with the addition of Balme while still keeping on Richardson (as one obvious example) which is a roundabout admission of failure. Their performances over the last 12 months stinks of survival mode and that is not healthy for the club which should be focused on winning a premiership.

Correct. All efforts have revolved around avoiding accountability and masking mistakes instead of improving the club to win a premiership

Come on Guys ............ We had a great trade and draft season

Hear hear BC! A player of his calibre deserves to be in a side that is close to a premiership. He is one of my favourite players and I wish him all the best at GWS and hope he gets to celebrate the biggest win of all. I'll miss him though. He was one of those rare players in the side that filled me with confidence when he had the ball.

No booing from me. He has been a loyal Tiger. Jumped or pushed...unsure. Either way, I wish him well. If he had gone to Essendon or Collingwood, that would have tested me though!

Oh no, he wasn't 100% honest when sensitive negotiations were underway. He should have said "I want out, but if no-one else wants me I'll stay here".

FFS.

Sad day at Punt Road when a player like Lids wanted out. I am of the opinion he just did not want to flog a dead horse any more. Gotta be tough for the guns (Jack, Rance, Martin & Cotch) to see him go. With Vickery they would not have shed a tear.

X2, felt he was pushed by the club when other clubs came sniffin Lids didn't know what was going on. I believe him, then when I reckon he found out club put feelers thought no loyalty to him, said F this, and took off. just my take.
I wont boo, quite the opposite, wish him all the best & success.
