Brandon Ellis

Re: Welcome Brandon Ellis

been wasted as the sub. nice game from Brandon. Loved the courage he showed running back with the flight of the ball last night.

He and Flossy should be highlighted in the players game review.

Re: Welcome Brandon Ellis

He was superb but then again I'm not surprised. He was one of our best players in the preseason. 1 poor game round 1 and he's made the sub for 3 weeks on end without getting another real chance.

Love his attitude, is sub for 3 weeks but keeps head up and maintains the fight and confidence. Has completely won me over. Thought he would be a solid player but last night he showed he can be so much more

I thought making him the sub was a good strategy to get his confidence back. Poor round 1. Turned it around. Good player mgt and good use of sub system. Top game last night, he's a tough bastard

Hard running and he is a terrific mark of the ball. Excellent prospect for us.

Re: Welcome Brandon Ellis

He looks to show great leadership. Often notice him talking to players, hand on their back or pointing somewhere on the ground, as though giving advice and support. Seems to be a very mature kid. Very bright future.

25 disposal.....23 which hit the target :clap

Wow what a great stat. He made some gutsy plays also. That's the standard and now everyone knows it. Dusty also played 4 quarters again this week so let's hope this becomes the norm for him.

I hope he wins a norm as well. Grigg, take note

Re: Welcome Brandon Ellis

Who knows why he was sub the first time, but was calling for him to be in 22 from that week on. Has genuine credentials and unlike 6 or so others has upside. His best is yet to come but will be at some higher level.

Re: Welcome Brandon Ellis

Wonderful game.

Praise must go to Francis Jackson - players that are driven and show leadership like Ellis and Vlaustin will take us to where we want to be.

I suspect he became sub because he had an average round 1 performance (when Nahas was sub). The good thing is that he has responded. A good few others wouldn't respond (like Nahas) so I guess this season is another that weeds out the dead wood.

Re: Welcome Brandon Ellis

has an extra half second with the ball.

composed.

priceless.

The sub farce finally ended and the result was there for all to see.

I think your looking at it the wrong way Aces. I reckon being sub brought him on = good mgt/coaching. Freshen up the body, the mind and create the desire. I reckon Richmonds greatest love machine would be a good sub for a couple of weeks. 6 tackles in the last quarter could be just the ticket to get us over the line against the cats. Id love to see him rip Selwoods bottom half off.
