Brandon Ellis

Was in my best three. Was the complete opposite to last week.

His courage and composure was a standout tonight.

Stood up to be counted when we were in trouble. Games like this one shows why he is a Tiger. Just needs to play at that level every week.

That's a pretty tough ask.

If he played to that level every week, he'd win a brownlow.

Hey where is the love for this guy.

One of my whipping boys and I had him out but he was terrific. We needed leaders and he stood up (bar one slightly timid effort late)

If he brings the heat he is a pretty decent player.

Good game again - solid and serviceable
Has his limitations but who didn’t out there tonight?

First half thought he was woeful despite 16 disposals. 2nd half thought he was fantastic despite only 9 disposals. One reason, he put his body on the line when it was his turn in the 2nd. Played bruisless, backwards, momentum stopping footy in the 1st.

This is 100% spot on.

You are kidding aren't you????

Are you best mates from school? (or similar?)

Did you see the missed tackle that cost us momentum?

Did you see him running around into open space?

Did you see him slow up play (almost every time)?

Yes - he played "okay" tonight - but he is the first out when the regulars are fit and ready to come back!

So many of the young players have over taken him!!

Menadue was far better tonight!

Probably made the most blunders but solid mark and goal early in the last was timely. Played his part in a committed team effort and doesn't deserve to be singled out this week. Nobody does.

Thought he was really good, but a little untidy. Still 6 tackles and a clutch goal. Probably our best set shot this season.

Good game from Bobble tonight. Maybe we should play him on alternate weeks instead of every game, seems to be unable to make up his mind whether he's Brando or Bobble from game to game. Very good player when he's on, bloody pain in the arse when he's not.

Played pretty well and kicked the goal when needed too. But his reluctance to full body the opponent or line of the football costs us goals as well.

Loving the year he is having ;D ;D ;D ;D

Hopefully Carlton , North , St Kilda , Gold Coast , Melbourne are all after him and offering him a massive deal worth $750k x 5 years to insure we get a 1st round compo pick

been fantastic, some people never happy, almost flawless game again

Watch the game again. We were 4 goals up and a pussy cat attempt to tackle or push the player over the boundary failed 3 seconds later Freo kick a goal.
A kick in, he could’ve gone back, but he didn’t he just allowed Fyfe to mark the ball. Stack would’ve attempted to mark it.

Never gunna be a physical contested beast, something that we're gunna have to live with. But to make up for the shortage there, he's expected to perform very well in the other areas of the game that he's good at. Was a very good game by Bobble last night. I'll happily take that every day of the week, the killer is when he plays his brand of game poorly as well as having no physical presence.
