God help us if we scrape into the finals only to carry uncompromising players who crumble under the heat AGAIN! Nothing changes. No lessons learnt.

you would rather compromising players?

Think he has been building all year. Turned in a great performance on the weekend. Our 2nd tier players seem to be growing in stature.

It was a good game by Ellis. The scary thing though was that Dimma said he's been playing well all year.

very scary. there is your evidence he is one of Dimma's favourites. one good game doesn't make a season. needs to back it up next week.

How did Brandon go up 3 gears in the space of one week?
Has to be mental not just a one off fluke?

Absolutely loved his game (90% efficiency from a guy that has been kicking long blindly all year till last week .......how does that happen?
Did they take away the weekly paddle pop award for metres gained and changed it to highest efficiency?

Hope they had a go pro on him so he can re-enact the whole week, down to how many Coco Pops in the bowl pre-game. ........

I'd like to think that the penny finally dropped for him. More likely he was given a quiet word by someone that he was close to getting dropped.

100% mental. Same reason whole footy teams come out sometimes as if they're possessed and at other times the couldn't scare a kitten. So much of footy these days has a mental component.

Especially for the fans. Gotta be mental to follow Richmond over the last thirty five years. Gotta be mental from copping what the maggots dish out. Gotta be mental to keep believing we're just on the fringe of turning the corner n becoming a good team.

Mental or a Maso, either one helps to get ya through.

A smart alec Essendon supporter text me during the game when they were a couple of goals up trying to bait me. My answer, you know you're well and truly still in the game and it's not that hot a contest when Ellis is playing well. Let's see him do it regularly and against decent opposition before he's won me over.

he wasnt bobbling as much this week. Perhaps it lightened the loading on his neck.

might have gone in for a little neck tendon tighten?

kahuna enlargement also?

whatever he done last week, keep doing it.

A reminder to Brandon of what he can do.
Confidence is an amazing thing. Fingers crossed because the more players we have performing well, the more games we'll win. Simple isn't it?

The aspect of his game that was missing last week was his left foot. He was able to get the ball and kick on his right all but 3 occasionns that i saw. His left side is his let down but as he has shown his right can be damaging. Good game.

Hopefully that game gives him the confidence to go on with it.

Good call. Does seem to be a very big confidence player. Looked lost so many times last year. If he can make that his new standard happy days.

Dan Jackson won the JD and people were still valid to punt him. He was the ultimate whipping boy.
