He reminds me of Goddard with a tad more speed.
Huge potential to be a big framed midfielder down the track.

Tracking nicely.
Made a couple of horrible errors that cost goals but you have to play the kids to get those out of their game.
If we can get a tank on him this kid could be a real treat to watch cos' he would be such a hard match up when roaming.

And apparently was a no hoper a few weeks back because he was playing in the twos.
Geez, If I've ever said that about him I musta been seriously *smile* faced.
Kids got talent to spare, but in footballing terms is just that, still a kid. There's work ethic, intensity n match hardness, experience he's still got to learn about. Match that up with his natural talents n he'll be good for us.
Can't remember where I've knocked to many of our youngsters recently, unless it's simply about them needing time to physically n mentally develop to consistent AFL capability.

6 goal assists in the last 4 games. 5 goals too.

His kicking and creativity up forward is a weapon.

Re: Welcome to tiger land Ben Lennon

Coming along very nicely.

Oozes class. Good mark too.

I watched him pretty closely on a couple of occassions. Sometimes he just looks like he's chasing hard or pushing to a contest but is not really.
That said his offensive output is extremely promising.
He just needs to keep being flogged on the track to build endurance.
Has all the tools.
He hasn't got the fitness and the tank yet. I was watching him closely and at times he was trying to will himself to the contest and couldn't. He is quite a bit unit and had just turned 20.

Mcintosh was the same. He just needs another pre season or two.

That kick in the last which Thomas cut off was a dart off a couple of steps heading straight for vickery's chest. Deledio like

Do we have room for Lennon, Lloyd, Jarhead, Menadue and Sheds when they are all available?

Re: Welcome to tiger land Ben Lennon

This bloke should join Martin, Miles, Brandon, Cialis, (hopefully) Conca, McIntosh, Vlastuin and Lambert in the core of the next generation of Richmond. McJeebus would be nice to add to the group.

Sometimes from the stands I get his movement confused with Lids.
Me too. If he gets anywhere near as good, we've got a seriously hard to beat side.

Re: Welcome to tiger land Ben Lennon

He is actually quite a big lad. Filling out very nicely, has put on a fair bit of size already in his two pre seasons.

its his marking ability and kicking ability, they compare very well with Deledio

He isn't as quick ( of course ) but, he is actually a little taller and has a bigger frame.

Fluid. The perfect medium floating forward. Strong in the air, smart on the ground.

The last month has made me supremely confident we gave a potential A grade footballer with a skill set we lack.

We have been screaming out for a classy half forward flanker in the Ryan O'Keefe mould. Signs are looking good here.

Re: Welcome to tiger land Ben Lennon

I'm starting to like him again. Great improvement over the last few weeks.

If he builds a tank and gets dirty look out.

Good over head, neat kick, creative.
