I think he is going to be a very good player for us, one or two more preseasons is all he needs.

I think you may be right. Shows all the signs of having the right tools for AFL. I think one of his greatest strengths is his overhead marking especially when contesting. Needs to build an engine to be rotated through the middle. We need him to be more versatile.

Re: Welcome to tiger land Ben Lennon

get more and more reliable....excelent mark and kick..we have a player here folks

Re: Welcome to tiger land Ben Lennon

Best game yet - keeps building his game which is a great sign.

If he keeps getting it 20+ times a game - he will start to impact the scoreboard more as he is such a smart and skilled player

Re: Welcome to tiger land Ben Lennon

Has justified his selection and the decision to give him time.
Well done Ben.
Well done RFC.
Win Win Win (the third win being us supporters)

Re: Welcome to tiger land Ben Lennon

like what I see. really strong mark and elite kick. build a tank and he'll be a player.

Re: Welcome to tiger land Ben Lennon

Plenty to like about young Ben, grabbed his chance this time around n showing the talent that got him selected. Get another couple of pre seasons into him n around the fifty game mark n he's just going to be a smooth player for us.

And apparently was a no hoper a few weeks back because he was playing in the twos.

Needs to work harder when he doesn't have the ball.

I thought he was alright at that today.

He'll be a very good player for a long time IMO.

I watched him pretty closely on a couple of occassions. Sometimes he just looks like he's chasing hard or pushing to a contest but is not really.
That said his offensive output is extremely promising.
He just needs to keep being flogged on the track to build endurance.
Has all the tools.

Re: Welcome to tiger land Ben Lennon

Obviously lots to like. Like most, was a little worried earlier in the season but is showing a lot of class.

Hopefully Beavis just keeps putting games into him.

I must have been in the minority then.

Classy, classy player.

Yep. Making me eat my words. Has still a lot more to polish up on but can now see draft first rounder qualities

We put so much pressure on the first rounders, seems like Lennon just took that little bit extra to get the tempo of the game.

Such good hands, reminds me of another #35 from 30 years ago who was very good in the air - M Pickering.

Good call. Loved Pickers.

This bloke's classier by foot and just as good in the air.
