Yes would have been great if we could have won the VFL flag.

Ben was a miss by the recruiting department. He didn't have the attributes to make it as an AFL player. They have more than made up with in post 2014 though especially with our late picks who have been as good as anyone's over the last three years.

I think I’m right in saying that Ben kicked a goal with his first kick in AFL football. The fact that he missed a shot that would have won a VFL grand final with his last kick neatly encapsulates his career trajectory at Richmond.
