Huge cause of where we're at is the below par strike rate of B Ellis, Flossy, Lennon, Conca and C Ellis. As a collective I mean, individually we can, and do, debate how good they are and their potential to develop. We look like getting 2, maybe 3 good to solid players out of the group, but 1 or 2 gun players and 1 good player would have made a massive difference. (generally 2 would be underperformers or busts.)
An eagle would be 2 guns, 2 solid/ good
A birdy would be 1 gun, 2 solid/good
par 2 or 3 good/ solid (maybe us)
Bogie 2 good/ solid (maybe us)
double bogie 1 good/ solid
triple bogie all busts

Sadly might be one of those that are very good vFL level and may never by good enough as a consistent AFL level

I've seen Ben kick lots of cheap 3s. I liked his JLT games better.

Even though he couldn't get his hands on it he was tackling and chasing, showed real effort, something as you say was lacking, would have loved him to get more of it but he certainly was trying, probably needs to get a little fitter (only 1 full preseason) but will only get that opportunity i would suspect if he shows he deserves it in 2017, quite rightly..

Agree with others that X and also our 3 indigenous and Marbs are great for each other and lets hope they can all follow Dans lead and develop quickly as they would certainly scare the shizen out of defenses if they hit their straps!
