Huh? Extended the the King Island lads career by a few years and we managed to get value when we traded him. Without a doubt the only explanation for that sort of career fortune was due to the moniker.

But I agree that lorry for Lennon just doesn't click. Locomotive? Learjet? Luge? Loveshimself?
It has to be something that we can all get on for the ride. It could just be the Ben bus but the vibrancy van has a certain ring to it

For such a Dud having a 10 year career as an afl player was amazing, Probably could buy King Island with what he made as a footballer without actually being a footballers a hole

Hardly a dud. Ragdolled Sandilands and often played through the debilitating and crippling pain that comes with full body cramps.

Wow, I never knew it was Hardwicks call for Ben to seek a transfer.

There's been a pretty significant re-writing of history done there.

By Lennon? On his last chance he's more stupid than most of he lies openly to the press about his discussions with Dimmable.

Going to make a lot of people here look silly if finally given a fair chance. Sadly don't think that will happen. Own coach wanted him gone.

Dimma will probably play his beloved Morris up forward over him again.

Can the mod who deleted my post on the previous page PM me please.

Thought we could post links of HUN articles and that the AFL site was off-limits?

It is funny that all those Hardwick supporters who have been bagging the crap out of Lennon have gone a bit quiet now.

Who are those people you're talking about ? Any names or examples?

The truth is more like that in his last review after the Geelong game he copped a burst for something he did in the last 30 seconds of the game. Lennon felt that was contradictory with other messages he had been given previously and said so, which was met with an angry response.
Lennon said he finds the messages confusing and contradictory and it is impossible to play for a coach when you are not clear on what he wants.
Review ended in heated words and Lennon heading for a trade.

Don't think this is big noting and I don't really doubt this....seems reasonable from both sides given the circumstances. It's also reasonable to assume that it can be worked through.
Christ, both of them could do with a few honest appraisals.

So there's at least two ways to interpret that.

1. Lennon was given contradictory instructions, said so, got told off by Dimma, got upset and requested a trade.
2. Lennon was not given contradictory instructions, but didn't understand all or part of them, got told off, asked for trade etc etc.

A less charitable version is that he wasn't given contradictory instructions but used that as an excuse after a stuff-up. Not saying this is what happened but it's possible.

Like mj72 says, completely plausible either way. Miscommunications happen all the time in most workplaces and are usually sorted out.

Thanks Big Richo.

I love Ben's gentle swipe at Dimma in that it's good to have people above (Leppa) that believe in you.

Nice that he is training as high half forward as that is his spot.

Pity Leppa left for three years. Really hurt our KPP development and our coaching footy smarts.
