It's just like starting over.
 
BIG pre-season for this fella. I was a keen supporter when he was recruited, but my enthusiasm has waned since. His footy future is very much in his hands. Go for it young fella.

Yep, if he doesn't do anything this year he will be delisted and end up chasing coin in the suburbs. Look at some of the kids that got delisted by Carlton - Viojo-Rainbow - besides a crazy surname he was a highly rated junior. Now he is done and dusted. The AFL train is moving too fast for kids to keep getting chances when they don't show something in their initial years.

And in Ben's case, he has shown less than nothing and worst of all has shown he has some serious deficiencies in his game in athleticism and work rate/intensity. Two traits that in most cases you have it or you don't, not something that can be trained.

As long as he understands that whatever happens come end of next season will be entirely up to him.

i agree here, with Lids leaving there is a spot in the 22 for him if he wants it. next yr for him is make or break!
