Ben Lennon

How can the playing group trust this bloke?
Seriously...
Should've traded him for pick 110.
To take that huge chip off his shoulders

Me on Lennon Island.

Same old same old????????????

Had a look at training, Lenno 3rd last in repeat 50's, but wait, there's more. Boys set off for a couple of half laps Lenno trailed the field by 20 meters. Makes a mockery of his comments below when he was pumping himself up to be traded or maybe he has just spat the dummy that he is still at Richmond?

“I’m putting my best foot forward for 2017 - and beyond - I see this as the beginning of my career and I am putting in the hard yards to ensure I’ll be ready for it,” Lennon recently wrote for website Sportsta.

The ball-winning goalkicker revealed he is training four times a week with a sprint coach and personal trainer to make up for lost time.

“While I finish most days feeling knackered I’m pleased to say I feel a sense of enormous satisfaction in knowing that physically I’m getting to the level where I want to be,” Lennon said.

“I’m excited to think I might be able to show everyone what I’m capable of with a full pre-season under my belt.”

It's ok he'll learn from this...

It's the 1-4 year players. Lennon is easily the worst athlete we've drafted in the last four years, a few weeks of training won't undo that. I want to know who the two blokes he beat in the repeat sprints are - hopefully the ruckmen.

Soldo was one though they were neck and neck ;D

I was also at the session and got there at 9.30 and stayed until nearly 11:00 , Extremely disappointed that the ground was closed and couldn't get in so looked on from the fence but most of the work / training was at the ME side of the ground and i was positioned at the Punt Road side.

I can backup what Ceaser posted earlier on and that Lennon is truly a Lemon and was clearly our most disappointing trainer out there and looked laconic and not interested and his running was absolutely pathetic - Bloody Disgrace for a player thats 21 years old to be so sh!t

Corey Ellis was just running laps and i would have counted atlease 10 laps of the ground and still has the same body he was drafted with, Kid needs to be introduced to the Gym

Think positive everyone.
When the balls come out Ben will be pinging the passes around.
He can kick, which is kinda refreshing.
Wonder what percentage of the athletes running around like Carl Lewis can hit the side of a barn?

But how's he going to use his weapon if he cant be arsed working hard to get the pill to start with?

The reports from training are worrying but is what I expected. It would be hard for him to fall in love with the club again after telling them he wants out. Would be worse down at Carlton with Bryce Squibbs....I'm sure he's going to love every minute of pre season
