Didn't he get a tiger tattoo last year?

Maybe hes restricted to Geelong or Brisbane? Dogs at a stretch? Or you could but a block of navy blue over it?

Youde have to rule the swans out youde reckon.

I must say i am very happy to see him wanting out.
Very lazy footballer.

I was pretty happy when RFC drafted Lennon. Thought his skills would be a real bonus for the Tigers.
Yet, despite some health and injury issues, he has basically been a disappointment.
Not sure if his desire to leave RFC is because of his attitude or because of his poor development at RFC or because of a combination of both these elements.
Last year I would have been disappointed if he had moved on, but this year I feel particularly indifferent to him remaining on the list at RFC.

Cripps....top class drafting ..
He would be lucky to worth anything under pick 30.

Must go GC to help get Prestia.
Conca to west coast for pick 99
Vickery to hawthorn. Afl compo pick 78
Edwards to Adelaide for Matthew Liptak.

We should bounce back
Where screwed

So be it - is slow, not fit enough and has poor second efforts. Lots of work for him to do to be decent AFL player. Gives us trade options straight away.

We could have 5 picks under 50
If they have balls, get rid of Lennon, edwards, Conca, Vickery and Batchelor
Where back with options to trade and to draft

Underperformer, more talk about his potential than actual performance to date, heart is not in RFC. There is the door son, Tigers pick up 5 magic beans in return.

This'll be a test for the club as to what we get for Bruce.

If we fill a need in a trade (eg a ready to go ruck.....whoever that may be!) or a kpd or a KPF.

With Lennon, plenty has been said about the emotions.

There are some other things worth considering.

The Body. Ben Lennon is a ripped 187/87 AFL player.

Athletically he is slow and can't jump. Don't worry about the testing - he can never break on a chasing player and he's never out-jumped anybody. He is strong. And he hist it hard when he puts his mind to it.

His hands are immaculate. And his feet are too. His decision making is excellent. But he has no BWA. He doesn't win a lot of leather. He marks it by running into the smartest hole.

Ball use. Execution. He can use by hand or foot lethally if he can get space and the ball. (See above.) He's that good.

Field Savvy. Ben knows a lot about the field and the formations. Holes. He knows not just where they are, but where they will be.

Speed and accuracy of thought.
He has both kinds of moment. But shows a lack of awareness when AFL class players are closing on him. He is nowhere near AFL tempo.

So where do you play a guy with that set of characteristics? You play him inside midfield. And let him mark on the spread. *But he doesn't win a lot of ball* Ugh. He's a project player. WHo is too important to play football.

Trade. And never recruit that combination again.

BTW when Frank took Lennon we were looking, I believe, for a mobile marking forward. Cam McCarthy went two picks later.

Lennon is Frank's Yarran.
