The way Benny is coming back is EXACTLY the way he should be coming back. There's not ducks and drapes, political moves or mental games.
It's purely a case of gradually easing him into AFL training and gradually increasing his workload. Too massive a jump would be too much a system shock to him and be grossly negligent soft tissue wise.
When you have a diamond mine you take the time to cultivate it properly, if he gives 100% and he is handled properly, his body willing, we all know he can play.
If we stuff up on his part, by racing him back or expecting him to do what Jackson or White can do, then he will just break down and we will only have ourselves to blame.
