Seeing a couple of live bands later in the year. AC/DC (at Etihad much to my chagrin) for possibly a final time in Australia & Florence and the Machine at the Arts Centre.

Etihad is not bad Oldie. I saw AC/DC there last time they toured and the Foo Fighters earlier this year; both great shows.

Good stuff CocaCola. Have seen Def Leppard 'in the round' live back in '91. They used to be my fav band. Best era was High & Dry through to Hysteria.
Kiss I have also seen too at their 'Farewell tour' in back in '01 when Ace last played with them in Oz.
Both put on a good live show.
I was at that 91 concert , was the most placid crowd I've ever seen , good show thou...did you know Hysteria was written then totally scraped and started again..good choice ;) ......96 is the only time the original kiss members have toured together in Oz , I think I'm up near 10 times seeing them, it's goin to be the sons first big gig

Yes was a terrible atmosphere and I'm not sure why. Probably the reason i haven't seen them again since.

I enjoyed the concert. Can't stand Gene but geez they put on a great show.
I'm taking my youngest to ACDC for his first gig.

Saw The Angels (or what's left of them) at the Burvale a couple of weeks ago. The Brewster brothers are in fine form for guys who must be in their 60s. They didn't miss a beat and the band is still tight as a drum. No one can replace Doc Neeson but Dave Gleeson is a bloody good stand in. Nice touch to have one of their sons (can't remember which one get them mixed up) Sam playing bass.

Just a good old fashioned Australian suburban pub rock show. $40 you can't go wrong. Beers flowing, loud music, serious hangover the next day, just like the 80s and 90s. Good times.

Really thinking about seeing them again 5th Sept at Shoppingtown Hotel in Doncaster. Classic Australian rock never dies.
Ahh the Burvale...what memories

Saw KISS tonight at Rod Laver for the millionth time, the moves or the vocals may not be as good as they once were, but the stage show they put on just continues to amaze, great gig as always

Both my sisters went without telling me....b!tches.

I keep thinking Peter Criss is still on the drums when I look at that cat face.

Their moves are just as slow as Diamond Dave's. Sad.

Went to a day on the green at Rutherglen yesterday, Farnzy, Ross Wilson, Joe Camelliri and Braithwaite, I'm not a massive dan of any , however was a bloody good event and all the old fellas still sound great.....great concept these gigs....$8 can of Crownie though :help

Went on the 4th in Sydney and Brisbane 12th (done the hard yards front row) it was unreal, bit of rain around in Sydney didn't bother them. Angus out the front at the start of Thunderstruck, pissing raining playing his guts out. He is a freak. You blokes will love it, dropped a few hints to the wife about the Melbourne concert mixed response.

Today is the day. My boy is dressed up like Angus in his school uniform. Looking forward to seeing ACDC tonight.
I'll be there too. 3rd time seeing them. And we never know, it may be the last. Looking forward to it.

Will he be doing the duck walk during Who Made Who?

Not in the setlist this time around, but he still does it.

Yeah, Angus is getting on, but I was asking Oldie if his son (dressed as Angus) would simulate it.
