I saw Cleary at New Orleans last year. At several venues: Out at jazz Fest itself and backing the Lil band o Gold in jackson Square.

he also sat in with Dr John and Sonny Landreth!

Love his playing. and am gonna catch him at Easter at Byron Blues Fest

love the meters too. saw a few nevilles and nacontelli and george porter playing with the New Orleans Social Club last year! loved it!

And BTW Jon Cleary is playing the Corner Sunday night with... Elana James supporting. (I'm cast after one little hol and on the eve of another. Dang.)

they dont gig often, it was at an ASYLUM TV taping at musicland in fawkner. it should go to air o channel 31 in a few weeks...

Just got home from Matchbox 20. I took my mum as her Christmas present and she seemed to like it which was good. It wasnt anything special though.

Just got back from seeing The Australian Pink Floyd Show at The Royal Albert Hall. They did 3 gigs there, tonight being the last and while not a sell out it was pretty full. They do a great job, not just with the accuracy on the musical side of things but with the staging and lightshow.

Well worth a look next time they're near your town.

Now for Roger Waters at The O2 in May.

I've heard alot about these guys from friends in the US, but I cannot recall them gigging down here at all.

I know they did a gig in Sydney, I think 2 years ago, but I'm not sure what else.

Yeah, as soon as they're down here I'll be going for sure, I heard great things about them.

Going to 'Weddings Parties Anything ' Sat night,at the Corner, one of those bands that I didn,t really bother listening to much,

But always enjoyed seeing them live.
