Actually reading deeper it's only a plantar fascia sprain which is usually only a 2-3 week injury. Big difference.

They're the scariest team in the league whether they keep him or trade him.
He's waking up so it'd be a bad move moving him on in my opinion.
They own three 1st round kicks in the 2024 draft, four 1st rounders in '25, 1 in '26, 3 in '27, then add their second round picks as well. They do it right, this could be a dynastic team

Everyone wanting to put an unsavoury incident behind them. Probably best outcome. Bad enough for Giddey moving forward - would have been worse for the young woman if this had dragged on. Lessons learned.
Siakam to Pacers is a great move by the organisation. Will be a tougher team to meet in the playoffs. Might even get past the first round. Although this wasn’t one, I have a feeling this trade season has a few more surprises to spring on us.

Given some of the crap you see in the US legal system, I am surprised that Giddey got off, innocent or not.
