Bachar Houli - بشار حولي,

looks an average footballer to me
would play well in a great team and struggle in a poor team
i dont need to tell you which richmond are !
still give him a few more games, if he doesn,t show anything off to coburg.

Lets see Basher had 18 disposals yesterday.
Deledio had 17, Morton 15, Connors 14, Newman 14, King 9, Riewoldt 8, White 7.
It was a poor team effort last night at least Basher held his own.

And the results of those 18 disposals?

Basher was very clean with last night, rarely fumbled in the wet, pity the rest of the team weren't as clean, not really worried about him one way or another, was free for us, if he comes good then great, if he doesn't then so be it.

He's probably had one really good quarter in football in 12. The rest have either been average or poor. If he is an upgrade on what we've had previously (and a case can be made of sorts that he is albeit off a very low base) it has been a pretty minimal one. Certainly I can't imagine the Bombers at the moment having any regrets losing him.

Yeah, he wouldn't be in Essendon's best 22 but apparently he's in ours. Says a lot for the 2 teams.

Yet Hird wanted to keep him desperately he took him out to personally talk to him and wine and dine him.

The messiah Hird thought he was good enough to be in their 22. So really, it doesn't say much.

Best 22 or simply a place on the list and a chance with a new coaching panel on board? Couldn't get a game in a hopeless Bomber 22 last year, so would he get one now that they are going so well? Who knows? I wasn't there during the 'wine and dine', but I would be amazed if Hird guaranteed him a place in the best 22 - you have to be pretty damn good to get that from any incoming coach.

Bob is making up stories again.

Not doubting this but who should come in?...Nason or Webberley?

True. Which is why we will be bottom 4 again.

A few pages back I thought I was harsh when I said the ferals would brand him the next Tivendale. I guess not even I thought he'd be labelled Jordy Mk II after only 3 games.

Yeah it's looking that way, although our first month was always going to be our hardest, after next week it's gonna get easier and we'll snag a few wins.

Sorry, Bombers haven't changed tehir list in the slightest, so all of those hopeless 22 are now part of the "going so well". Do not see your point.

Bachar is a bit soft... Moreso than I could remember. But he's only a few games into his Richmond career, so we'll see how he goes over time.

Seems to get in the right spots which is good, but is also incredibly one sided.

Um others seem to? (could try and re-write it but it seems a relatively uncomplicated point and in reasonably simple english?).

Whereas no player has ever been on the outer in Richmond and gone on to make a contribution in another club
